Q. Do I need a 4wd vehicle to go on a run?
A. Yes. In most runs with c4w, 4 wheel drive is necessary. There can always be some unexpected bumps along the trail!
Q. Do I need a 4x4 in order to be a part of the Club?
A. A 4wd vehicle is necessary to be an "official member", but if you don't have one, being actively involved with c4w does not require one. You can always buddy up with someone who has an extra seat to join in on a run!
Q. How do I join?
A. Just submit a request to Brett, and mention how you heard about c4w, why you're interested in joining, what vehicle you have (if any) and your email address. You'll get a response, and info you need from there.
Q. Do I need a Jeep in order to be a member of c4w?
A. No. Although most of our members own Jeeps, any 4wd vehicles are welcome!
Q. Is c4w men only?
A. Nope! Men, women and children 4wd enthusiasts make up the c4w "family"!
Q. Do I have to be gay/lesbian to join c4w?
A. Absolutely not! c4w encourages DIVERSITY. Our only expectation is that Everyone have an open mind, and have good times with great people from all walks of life! Discrimination will not be tolerated by c4w and its members.
Q. I've never driven off-road before, will that be a problem?
A. Not at all. We have experience levels from novice to advanced. If there is a spot on the trail you are not comfortable with, we understand! There will be someone there to help out, give pointers, or even jump in and take the wheel for you! We encourage those who are not comfortable with something, to speak up, and ask for help or advice. Safety is a definite concern with c4w.
Q. Does Cactus 4 Wheelers only do 4wd trips?
A. No, although c4w is a 4 wheeling club, the people involved quickly become friends! Other activities, such as camping, bowling, picnics, holiday parties, and any other event that involves having a great time with each other, makes c4w just that much better of an organization to be involved with!
